Throwback bulan puasa hari tu. Sejak PKP ni, rasanya dah banyak kali I terjumpa kawan2 atau di FB yang try first time buat Basque Burnt Cheesecake. I hampir ada kesemua barang, just whipping cream je xde. Susah bebeno nak mencari. So I hold dulu my making of the Burnt Cheesecake. Memandangkan tak terbuat-buat lagi burnt cheesecake, so apa kata kita order saja. Hahaha. Rasanye sejak PKP ni, dah banyak benda I order Online. Every week mesti ada "Ding Dong". #newnorm

Ni Burnt Cheesecake from Union Artisan Coffee. Ni merupakan their best seller tau. Truth to be told, I memang jarang makan cheesecake ni coz for me agak cepat muak. I suka jenis yang berkrim or cake with chocolate or fruits. Tapi rasa kalo makan ramai-ramai is better la. So kami menjamu Burnt Cheesecake ni time moreh. For me, tekstur cake dia sangat creamy and smooth. Seriously memang sedap. Anak-anak I semua gemar. Berebut kot makan.

VERY CREAMY TEXTURE

Paired with their Cold White Brew. Diaorang ada juga Cold Black Brew. But saja nak try white coffee pulak. Perghh..I bukan peminat coffee tapi coffee ni just nice. Memang tak manis langsung. Husband I pun suka..just his type of coffee. Memang sesuai sekali dimakan dengan Burnt Cheesecake ni. But be careful of the side effects ye. I tak boleh tidur malam lepas tu. Hahaha. Caffeine overload.

Seronok bila ada orang yang nk belanja. Memandangkan masing2 sibuk, so x boleh mencari tempat makan yang jauh. Tuan empunya yang nk belanja, cadangkan KL Gateway Mall. Kami on saja, tp bila sampai ke KL Gateway, x tau nk terjah kedai mana. So last2 I cadangkan Tovista, coz pernah nmpk masuk JJCM. So kitaorang berharap makanan dia sedap2 la.

I like the environment. Very cosy, sesuai sangat untuk lepak ngan kawan-kawan, gossip2 sana-sini. Dekat sini, self service. Kena order di kaunter. Lama jugak la kitaorang nk decide nk makan apa. Kat sini, more to western and local dishes la. I sempat gak usha IG dia, tngk gambar2 makanan dia. Hehehe. So last-last, I ordered their Fish n Chips. Yang lain ordered, Salted Egg Prawn Pasta, Tovista Beef Burger, Grilled Chicken, Nasi Lemak & Chocolate Chip Frappe.

I suka datang ke KL Gateway Mall ni walaupun x banyak kedai makan sangat tp ada kedai2 yang I suka. Dan kat sini, x ramai orang, so senang. Tngh gossip2 tu, Chocolate Chip Frappe pun mai..perghh..tngk pun dah leh leleh. Portion memang besar. Kalo I, boleh dikongsi ngan anak2 la kalo gitu. Hari tu, air tu, kitaorang kongsi bertiga. Sejuk..lg pun I tngh pantang ais..walaupun ada masa tibai gak tp kalo boleh, nk dielakkan la. Dari segi rasa, kebaboom. Memang marvelous la. Sedap!! 

CHOC CHIP FRAPPE

Ni pulak, my Fish n Chips. Presentation wise, memang tip top la, Visual dah nmpk tempting. Colourful Taste wise..ehmm..Fish dia for me, is excellent. Crispy and fluffy. But the sauce, chips and salad, for me, ada hit n misses. Sauce dia, memang x “go’ dengan tekak I. Patut bg tartar sauce jer..fries dia pulak, masin sedikit. So nk habiskan agak payah. Portion size ok. Harga pun ok lagi. 

FISH N CHIPS

Ni pulak, Salted Egg Prawn Pasta. Katanya signature dish dekat sini. Diaorang x berapa suka pasta tu, tp for me, I suka. X berapa masin, cukup lemak, juz kalo makan sorang rasanya boleh muak jugak la. Tp taste wise semua ada. Tp itu tekak I saja. Yang lain x berapa gemar.

Ni pulak, Tovista Beef Burger. Besar kot. Terkedu member, coz dia dah tau x leh nk habiskan. Hahaha. For me, patty dia biasa..n masin jugak. Macam terlebih garam semua. Juz kalo dikurangkan garam tu, rasa overall mesti sedapp..

Ni pulak Nasi Lemak and Grill Chicken. Yang ni, geng2 boy makan. I xde makan la, tp diaorang kata, ok saja. Nasi Lemak tu, katanya so-so saja. Tekak masing-masing.

So overall, walaupun perut kenyang, semua macam x berapa nk puas hati.. Sori la geng, I yang pilih tempat. Next time, kita meng"cofffee" atau meng"frappe" saja di sini ye. Ada jugak jual kek, tp x snap lak hari tu. Menu dia ada macam2 lagi sebenarnya. Ada pizza jugak disini.

Sebelum nk berjumpa dengan doctor gigi, mr hubby bawak I pi makan sedap2 dulu..hehehe..xde la belasah makan semua..tp at least dapat la makan luar sebelum nk cabut gigi petang tu..

So I ajak mr hubby pg makan ke Black Canyon..mula2 ajak pi ke Papparich..tp last2 opt tuk pi ke Black Canyon pulak..time lunch hours memang ramai la kat restaurant ni..Restauarant ni berdekatan dengan Food Court RASA Alamanda. Belah kiri dia..kedai ni jual makanan Thai..

So hari tu..ada weekday promo..tp kitaorang x ambik pun..i sebab x mau n x selera nk makan nasi..i nak mee2 gitu..mr hubby lak pekenan dengan tomyam dia..

I order matcha frappe dia..hehehe..teringin sangat..rasa dia lain sikit dari matcha frappe resto lain yag pernah I minum..yg ni ada rasa macam kacang2 tu sekali sudah diblend sekali halus..rasa dia macam tu rrr..walaupun xde kacang matcha tu dalam frappe ni..apa pun..sedap la..

I punya sampai dulu..This is “Kua Gai” stir-fried Kueh Teow..harga RM9.90..banyak gak quantity dia..jenuh nk habiskan..i suka dish ni..memang kena dengan tekak i..rasa2 garlic sikit..memang my kind of food la..

Yg ni pulak mr hubby nye…mee dalam tu..sikit betul..nasib I punya x habis..so dia dapat la habiskan I punya..tomyam dia..memang kaw habis..pedas seh..kalo i..mungkin x kan order la..setiap hirupan tomyam tu..pedas dia mengancam..hahaha..tp I tngk husband I relax jerr makan..ish2..sakit perut baru tau..hahaha..i jerr yg x tahan pedas..org lain orait jerr..hehe..

Seronok bila hari Jumaat tiba..esoknye cuti..hari tu..sj ajak member ofis makan kat luar..malas sebenarnye nak menapak jauh2..my ofismate pernah makan kat satu kedai tu..time diaorang makan kat situ..i cuti..so bebudak ni citer la pasal kedai tu kat i..terus I teruja..so hari jumaat tu..i ajak diaorg pi makan sana..nasib baik diaorang layan je permintaan I nak makan situ..hehe

Dah lama perasan kedai ni..tp selalu kalo lalu, macam kosong jerr..x happening..and I ingat..kedai tu jual coffee n pastries jerr..so xde la beria nak pi makan kat situ..it turns out..diaorg sediakan western food..n bebudak ni citer..makanan dia agak sedap..so..harus la try kan..hehe..

Konsep kedai tu..memang santai..kat sini..kena order n bayar dulu..so jgn la harap ada org ambik order u ea..kalo u duduk terus..menu dia..diaorang letak kat dinding..no pictures..nak tengok gambo..ada kat luar kedai dia..menu dia xde la extensie sangat..tp still variety la..tp tulisan menu dia..halus sangat..kena tenung betul2 baru nampak jelas..heheh..

Lepas usha menu dia..last2 I opt tuk order Fish Fingers Cheese Carbonara Pasta (Set-inclusive of drinks) RM11.90. Ada perkataan cheese jer..terus I order..haha.. Member ofis I order, Italian Herb Pasta with Fish Fingers, Beef Meatball Tomato Sauce Pasta, and Spicy Butter Chicken Chop Pasta, and one Ice Latte. 

Memandangkan kitaorang agak awal sampai ke kedai tu..so makanan pun dapat la awal jugak..x sampai 15 min, makanan n minuman dah sampai..

This is mine..dihidangkan dalam black plate..nampak sikit kan..jgn terpedaya ye..banyak ok..separuh jalan duk tanya..bila nk habis ni..portion dia memang banyak..tuk perut I la kot..perut orang lain..i x berani nk jamin la..dr segi rasa..not bad..very creamy..fish fingers dia pun sedap..

This one..got to be the best out of the bunch..Spicy Butter Chicken Chop Pasta..sebenarnye u blh pilih..antara chicken chop or fish fingers..member I choose chicken chop..napa I kata this is the best..bg i..rasa dia unik..ada daun kari sikit..rasa pedas2 gitu..lemak2..n sesuai lak tu ngan pasta..chicken chop dia..orait la..but the combination..memang tip top..

Overall..i like this kedai..akan dtg lagi la..dekat kot ngan ofis..timer kasih la kepada member2 ofis..coz kenal kan I kepada kedai ni..kalo nk makan pasta..xde la kempunan sangat..coz skg dh tau tempat yg sedap n dekat..

So whenever u are in plaza pantai..leh la singgah sini..harus cuba menu kedai ni..

Malam tu sebenarnye nk pergi ke tesco..shopping barang rumah sikit..biasa la..dpt gaji jer terus shopping brg rumah dulu..so before shopping2 kat tesco IOI City Mall tu..cari tempat makan dulu..mula2 terfikir nk makan dekat Fish & Co..tp last2 kitaorang opt tuk try makan dekat Relish..malam tu ramai kot dekat IOI..jammed pack dengan orang..ice rink tu pun penuh..

Dinner malam tu..penuh jugak customer..tinggal beberapa seats jer dalam Relish tu..usha2 menu dia..mostly local n western cuisines..usha2 meja sebelah..portion leh tahan besar..ada set option tp x sure pulak set tu only for weekdays saja ke or every day..last2 I try their Chicken Satay Burger and mr hubby lak order Baked Macaroni. These set comes with one of our preferred choice of dessert, and one glass of Ice Peach tea..Dessert, I pilih, bubur pulut hitam..mr hubby lak, order bubur cha cha..ada tiga choices jer tuk dessert..lagi satu tu I, Herbal Treasure Soup..

Dari segi service..agak cepat jugak la..x sampai 10 minute..makanan dah sampai..dari segi harga..x ingat sebenarnya..hehehe..tp semua set rasanya below RM20..so i letak harga based on my receipt..

My verdict on the chicken satay burger..mula2 makan tu rasa pelik sikit..hehehe..memang burger dia rasa satay..kuah kacang, timun, onion rings..sedap jugak la..tp mungkin x akan re-order balik dish ni next time kot..coz ada feeling rasa pelik sikit..hahaha..set burger ni dtg sekali ngan kopok lekor dan sayur2 carrot n timun..apa pun..portion boleh tahan..presentation pulak..memang tip top!!

Mr hubby nye baked macaroni pulak, memang sedap..panas2..cheese dia lekit2..berebut si Lily n Ziyad makan ngan ayah dia..ayah dia dpt makan chikit jer..hehe..portion dia pulak..agak kecik sikit..apa pun..licin habis malam tu..bubur cha cha & bubur pulut itam dia pulak..bg i marvelous..dua2 sedap..

Ada inciden malam tu..si Ziyad tertumpah gelas air ice peach tea tu sampai pecah..nasib waiter2 diaorang pantas..cepat jer kemas..n dpt free ganti one ice peach tea..basah kuyup jugak la I malam tu..si Ziyad tertumpah betul2 kat my lap..huhuhu…

Overall, not bad la tempat ni..probably next time nk try set nasi dia lak..coz tengok portion dia agak besar jugak…hehehe..apa pun..will definitely revisit..

I terperasan restaurant ni bile hari tu makan dekat The Library Coffee and Bar dekat Nexus Bangsar (boleh baca di sini)..Lalu dekat satu kedai ni..Chili Espresso..layout restaurant dia sangat menarik..so bile google2..rupanya ada cawangan dia dekat Sooka Sentral. So I ajak officemates pergi ke sana for lunch..biasa la..minggu dapat gaji..hehehe

Once sampai je dekat sana..mak ai...penuh sangat..tp kitaorang nak jugak try kan..so tunggu around 5-10 minutes..then dapat tempat. Time tunggu2 tu..dah usha menu2 kat meja orang..perghh…menggiurkan sangat..portion pun besar.

My tempura fish n chips..portion dia memang sesuai. Tp yg I paling suka pasal this dish..is the Wasabi Mayo..first time try tau..memang terasa wasabi dia. Not tangy tau..taste dia just nice..goes really well dengan tempura fish tu..RECOMMENDED!!

That day, keluar sekejap pergi bank with my other two office mates…lepas urusan bank, bermula la episode mencari kedai makan n kedai coffee coz diaorang ni memang coffee loverz!! Mula2 nak try Coffee Café Day..last2 try out Coffee Planet coz ada makanan berat sedikit..Lapo kot kitaorang..nasib baik urusan dekat bank tu sekejap jerr.. Kedai ni dekat kawasan luar sikit..sebelah The Loaf..Sederet dengan Coffee Planet ni ada Coffee Café Day, Pannetone and PappaRich..

Coffee Planet also serves lunch promo..so I ordered their Nasi Lemak with Chicken Rendang from their lunch promo list. All the menu items for the lunch promo comes with either Ice/Hot Tea. My friend ordered their Cappucino and their Vanilla Hot latte. Makanan lak, sorang tu ordered their Quzee Arruze Chicken and sorang lagi their Black Pepper Chicken & Mushroom.

For me, the food was just average. I suka nasi lemak dia..fluffy rice..bt overall..its a bit plain..Quzee Arruze Chicken, my friend score it just a 2 out of a 5…for Black Pepper Chicken and Mushroom..my friend terus bagi tau “x sedap”..i tengok x sampai separuh pun dia makan…as for the coffee..diaorang bg tau its ok..not bad la…

My friend sorang ni awal2 dia ordered Vanilla Latte. Then bila sampai..Hot Vanilla Milk..nasib baik leh tukar..so my friend requested Vanilla Latte. Bila sampai..ambik ko..cawan besa..hahaha..my friend punya cappuccino tu xde la sebesar cawan tu..nak tebus kesilapan balik kot..hehehe.

Then bila balik dari Coffee Planet tu..baru tersedar yang Latte dia xde rasa vanilla pun..hahaha..latte biasa jer..ke sebenarnya memang xde vanilla hot latte..kalo betul2 xde..boleh jer inform dari awal..ehm..tp bagi i..sedap jugak la latte dia..dapat jugakla I sip2 sikit...my friend sorang ni..dah nak bann dah kedai ni..service not quite up to par..coffee art pun biasa jerr..(senget kot-sloppy)..so probably wont revisit back to this place..Pastry dia nampak menarik tp x beli pun..

For hanging out..i don’t see why not..buy coming here for the food..probably not..Coffee was good though..
