Lunch @ Greenhouse D Jeram Sungai Sembilang

Happy Birthday Mama yang ke-60..Still awet muda lagi. So sempena birthday mama masuk 6 series, kitaorang ajak semua untuk makan dekat luar. Plan asal nk order pizza jer tapi dah biasa. Hampir setiap kali birthday, mesti nk order pizza. So kali ni kita celebrate during lunch time. Tp hari tu xde la lunch mana pun..more to makan petang dah. 

I dapat flyers ni, pasal a new café yang baru bukak. Kalo sesiapa familiar dengan jalan utama nak ke Pantai Remis dekat Jeram tu, skang kalo korang lalu, akan nampak ada greenhouse, jual pokok Tin sebelah kanan tau. Bangunan berbatu bata merah. Besar jugak kawasan dia. Dalam tu ada café. Greenhouse D Jeram namanya. Dikeliling oleh industrial design dan juga pokok2, memang environment yang sesuai untuk makan-makan. Café ni betul2 baru bukak. Menu pun a bit limited.

I pilih Mee Ketam. Husband order Ayam Penyet, anak2 lak, macam biasa, Nasi Ayam. Yang lain, order Fish & Chip. Xde pulak yang order chicken chop. Hahaha. Next time la kot. 

Tapi hari tu, kami 8 dewasa dan 8 kanak-kanak yang semua dibawah umur 11 tahun. Meriahnya, macam kedai tu kitaorang yang punya. Dengan tumpah airnye, gaduhnye, rebut air nye, aduyay..hahaha..itu yang kekadang lagi selesa order pizza..sepah n bising semua kat rumah jer..Tapi sekali sekali leh la..bukan selalu mama turns 60 kan. 

Memandangkan x berapa ramai customer hari tu, makanan agak laju jugak la. Presentation wise, memang nampak cantik. Terus terbuka selera bila tengok makanan dia. Yang ni I nye. Mee Ketam. Tempting kan. Rasa dia pun agak sedap. Kalo sesiapa yang allergic seafood tu, rasa memang x leh makan kot. Kuat giler rasa ketam dia. I kongsi ketam tu dengan husband, masing2 dapat la merasa sikit. Kuah dia memang pekat giler.

Ayam penyet dia pun sedap tp sambal dia xde la pedas mana. Just nice la. Nasi ayam pun sama. Not bad rasa dia. I suka nasi dia. Cukup rasa. Portion size for me memang just nice.

Yang ni pulak, rasanya the winning dish. Their Fish & Chips!! Crunchy on the outside and very fluffy and smooth on the inside. Serious sedap. Probably next time I nak order yang ni. Walaupun menu x berapa banyak tp yang ada, memang sedap-sedap. Ambience pun best. Dapat melihat pokok2 time menjamu selera.

So, perut dah kenyang, it's time to celebrate with a cake..dah bawak dah cake ke situ..tp last bawak balik..budak2 semua dah ngamuk2..hahaha..akhirnye tiup lilin dekat rumah.

Pertandingan Mewarna Batik di Wasalfa Rest House

Siapa disini pernah masuk pertandingan mewarna Batik?? Pertandingan ni dianjurkan oleh koperasi kampung I, termasuk family I la. Lokasinya tak lain tak bukan di Wasalfa Rest House. Homestay family I. Parents I dah siap2 masuk kan nama I & nama anak2 I dalam pertandingan. Apa lagi, jom tonjolkan creativity. 

Sebelum pertandingan bermula, ada sesi belaja sekejap la. Tuan pengajar tu, aja basic cara2 mewarna. Antara tip-tips, untuk bunga-bunga, gunakan kaler yang terang-terang. Kaler terang-terang ni macam kuning..oren..Then kalo boleh, ada ton kaler. Latar belakang pulak, leh buat kaler gelap sedikit. 

Masing-masing akan dapat kanvas sendiri la berserta dengan nombor penyertaan. Gambar random ea. X boleh pilih. I dapat yang ada tiga kuntum bunga2. So I n adik beradik semua join. Husband I je yg x join time ni. Dia jadi tukang photographer dan juga tolong buatkan FB live..sambil2 aja anak I mewarna batik. Patut kanvas anak I cantik2. Ada yang menolong rupanya. Hehehe..

Mula2 ingat simple jer mewarna ni..TIDAK ok..SUSAH!! lagi2 untuk otak yang x kreatif macam I ni. Kekekeke..Nak pilih kaler pun susah. Apatah lagi nk buat tone kaler. Huhuhu..tup2 xde tone langsung. Hahaha..time hantar tu, dah memang confirm tau x kan menang. Tapi xpe..percubaan pertama. Lepas ni kalo ada lagi, leh masuk lagi kan. Pertandingan ni sejam tau tapi x cukup. Dah waktu-waktu terakhir tu, masing-masing kelam kabut. Tu terus i xde tone kaler langsung tu..husband pun geleng je bila tengok I nye..haha..

Yang ni pulak hasil mewarna dari Ziyad and Lily. Not bad la. Lily nye warna bunga, dah hampir sama dengan daun dah. Comel jer Lily ni. Mula-mula dia x masuk pun tapi last-last dia nk jugak coz dia nampak abang dia masuk. So Lily ni kiranya antara yang termuda la masuk mewarna batik. Not bad la hasil dia kan. Compared dgn mama..mama nye lagi xde bakat. Kekekeke..nasib ayah dia ada bakat bab-bab melukis dan mewarna ni..

Lunch @ Restaurant Rebung Tasik Perdana

Yeah, big boss mau belanja. So apa lagi, tadah perut je la. Hehehe. Hari tu, kami naik grab jer. Malas wei nak drive pergi sana. Bukan sebab apa, malas nanti bila balik ofis, kena cari parking. Dekat ofis I ni, free parking sangat limited. Kami gerak awal sikit. Maklum la, lapo. Perjalanan dari ofis nk ke Restaurant Rebung ni, x jauh mana la. Dalam 15 minit gitu..campur jem lagi kan. Sampai2 jer ke Restaurant tu, kami antara yang terawal. Hahaha. Ni kiranya kali kedua kitaorang datang sini. First time hari tu, untuk high tea. My verdict time tu, x berapa best la. Tapi for lunch, I might change my mind. Restaurant Rebung ni kepunyaan Chef Ismail yang femes tu. Last time I datang, dapat la jumpa and bergambo. This time, xde lak. 

Menu dia, semua masakan ala2 kampung gitu. Perghh..kalo tengah berdiet, this is definitely not the place. Bila masuk jer, confirm akan menjeling ke arah buffet table yang penuh dengan pelbagai lauk pauk melayu. Asam pedas pari, patin masak tempoyak, gulai sana sini, siput sedut masak lemak..pelbagai aneka kerabu, ulam-ulam, laksa, mee kari, sup tulang, rebung masak lemak..ABC...nak cakap semua, penuh page nanti..

I kalo pergi buffet cam ni, nasi kena sikit. Kena all out untuk makan lauk pauk. So dapatla merasa macam-macam. Kalo x, cepatla kenyangnye. So I ambik laksa, nasi with asam pedas ikan pari, siput sedut n sayur..My favourite dekat sini..kerabu2 dia wei. Dah la ada macam2, yg paling awesome, kerabu kerang dengan taugeh dan pucuk paku..pedas dan manis2 gitu..sedap giler..bertambah-tambah. 

Untuk dessert dia pulak, ada pulak pulut durian, roti jala, ubi rebus dengan kelapa, beraneka jenis kuih, goreng pisang, kopok lekor..hampir semua la merasa. Tapi merasa sikit. Berkongsi-kongsi pinggan la. So jom usha gambar-gambar makanan di sana..
